Caprylhydroxamic acid (CHA) is an organic acid with excellent antibacterial and bacteriostatic properties - especially for mold - at acidic to neutral pH value. As an ideal alternative to traditional preservatives, it can be used in preservative-free formulations, and is widely accepted in major markets like Europe, USA, Japan, South Korea, etc. Besides, CHA has been used as a drug on animals and human beings for quite a long time, whose high safety has been well recognized. | - Excellent antibacterial and bacteriostatic properties - especially for mold - Good compatibility with most cosmetic raw materials. - Its antimicrobial property is not affected by such materials as surfactants, proteins and Chinese herbal medicines in cosmetics. - It can be used in emulsions, anhydrous formulations and surfactant systems, such as cream, lotion, shower gel, shampoo and make-up. | ||
